About Info Dorais
My name is Maxime Dorais, founder of Info Dorais. From a young age, computers have been part of my daily life: I’ve always enjoyed understanding problems, finding solutions and helping the people around me get more out of their devices. Info Dorais is that idea turned into a service: local IT support that’s clear and reliable, based in Laval.
My background
Early on, I was often the one people called when a computer was acting up — in the family or around me — and most of the time I ended up finding the solution. As I grew up, that interest only grew stronger.
As soon as I started earning my own money, I built my first PC myself. That’s when I realized this passion could become a career. I then completed a vocational diploma (DEP) in computing at the Centre de formation professionnelle Paul-Émile-Dufresne, in Laval.
Info Dorais was born from that drive: to offer professional IT service that’s simple and reliable, close to home.
My approach
The way I work comes down to a few simple principles.
Listening
I start by understanding your situation and what’s really blocking you.
Clear diagnosis
I look for the real cause of the problem, not just the symptom.
Plain explanations
I explain what’s going on in clear language, with no jargon.
Guidance
I make sure you walk away with something that actually works.
For individuals and small businesses alike
Whether you’re an individual, a self-employed worker or a small business, the goal stays the same: to help you get back to computing that’s stable, understandable and that simply works.
For the home, I fix everyday headaches with patience. For small businesses and offices, I offer steady, reliable support with no unnecessary complexity. I serve Laval, Montreal, the North Shore and the surrounding area.
